Sustainability challenges are present everywhere and affect everyone and everything, from food, energy, ecosystem resources, and economic growth to health and social wellbeing, not to mention equity concerns. Today’s youth understand that their own future, as well as the future of our planet, depends on how we address these challenges.
Taking advantage of its Hawai‘i location, the program will incorporate Hawaiian values, traditions, and culture into learning activities designed to promote and support stewardship, sustainability, and peace building.
